No one camped here last night did they kids??

Narrowly avoiding a $110 fine per head, our little campsite was packed up and disguised as a day trippers haven within minutes after the ranger left us to carry on down the beach warning other overnight campers that his new young rangers would not hesitate to start handing out fines.

Another night spent sleeping under the stars in my new swag was simple bliss... a nice big fire, more toasted marshmallows, many spliffs passed around, laughs, shooting stars and great company! This time it was a celebration of Blocky's birthday... yet another August baby!

I rolled over at about 3am to find a beautiful quarter moon rising over the sea with Orion next to it...knocking his arrow as if his target was the silvery crescent hanging low over the sea, casting its light in a pathway of gold along the surface of the waves breaking and crashing onto the shore.

A few hours later the horizon turned an amazing pink melting into orange and yellow as the sun poked its head up to promise of another warm and blessed winters day!

Gifted with a visit from a sea eagle gliding into the wind, wings outstretched and almost at a standstill within meters from us cruising the coastline searching for a feed, whales splashing about and breaching offshore and dolphins that surfed the waves between the boys on their surfboards, once again Mother Nature displayed her might and granduer for us to revel and play in!

Life is amazing and just keeps getting better!
