Beauty IS the Eye of the Beholder

Why is it that we find beauty in one thing and not in another?
What is it that we identify within that thing which we consider beautiful?
Why see beauty in one thing and not in another?
Why is it that one thing can be considered beautiful by one and not all?
Can you name one thing that everyone who ever did and ever will exist finds beautiful?
Is it the earth seen from far out in space, the universe, the innocence of a child, the flight of a powerful eagle soaring far above, the first kiss of twin flames meeting in this lifetime for the first time?
It has been said for countless years that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... now I have always thought this to mean that the beholder is the one that determines beauty, yet I now find a new understanding to this term when I pose the question to myself... Is it not that the beholder is the thing of beauty observing the reflection of an aspect of itself and so identifies something outside of itself as beautiful?
