My eyes hurt ....

If I had a house like this I would NEVER leave it... even if it meant I never had yum cha again, or saw a rad band live, or even if I was dangerously close to developing scurvy from the lack of fruit or vegies... how good is it!!!!! arrrrgh and I think my treehouse is pretty cool! well it is bloody awesome but not this kinda eye exploding awesome!!!

Eye Jism

true to my word... here's another installment of BRILLIANCE!!!!! woohoo... this just raises the bar completely and drives me to find better and better images to excite my retinas! Now that i am onto some of the best image sharing sites that could possible exist I don't think I'm going to have a problem maintaining the level of quality! though you are invited to pull me up, whack me around the ears and tell me should I per chance disappoint you!!!

The sick installation using Flouro lights is by Yochai Matos which I tripped over on colectiva and thought was just bloody tops! I would love to have a light feature like that in my house!!! not that I would turn it on much considering how much power the bloddy thing would use...and I do hope he is using those new flouro bulbs that don't use as much power as the old ones... fuck I really have turned into a tree hugging hippy!

Moving right along... next to that little ditty is a shot by Cariann Wayman which i found on yayeveryday which is similar to dropular and simply a goldmine of visual delight and intrigue!

Then some pearlers from ffffound and Dropular... I love the bunny and the chick... very sexy!
but the last image is called Earthrise and I am completely in love with it... the sacred geometry, colours light and the earth as the focal point combined with a washed out gritty and grainy feel to it simply makes my eyes jism... how good is it!!!

Sensory Overload

Okay so today I have hit several jackpots... I have disappeared down a rabbit hole of inspirations, imaginations and the most amazing blogs ever!!! and now I'm in overload!
I think today goes down in history as the most prolific blog/website treasure hunt, and boy did I come up trumps!!!
Above you see the amazing work of Sam Weber, a canadian illustrator that has a great website you can view here I'm still scooping up the pieces of my brain after it exploded with excitement and delight after drooling over his work!

Below is an artist by the name of Rosson Crow, her paintings (which are on massive canvas') are incredible! the interiors she depicts are lavish and detailed without the element of precision and I love it! I found her on... hmm was it colectiva or Dropular???? one of the two! arrrrrrghhhhh what next????? hmmmm....

ok so after a wee bit of deliberation and review of the images I have added to my puter today... here's a slice of heaven from a little site called therewasrain.com a blog full of rad photographers and architects... seems like a weird combo, but anyhoo i dig it just the same... I'm sure you will too!

Next up Justin Blyth animator, designer and art director... has some MAD skills with a Holga! he has a rad website with tonnes of cool shit on it!!! check check check it out!!!

I wish I had more patience when it comes to sharing things that excite me as today's wanderings through cyberspace could keep me blogging for about a month... so I'm going to stop here and save at least some of the awesomeness I found for a later date... ahhhh who am I kidding, you'll be seeing more in about oooooh 24rs or less!!!!

This is the first passage from Time Traveller's Wife which I have just started reading and am already enthralled by only a few pages into the first chapter! I can see that I will be stealing every moment possible to immerse myself in pages of ecstasy!!!

This poem really hits home to me... the power in welcoming yourself home is overwhelming, and yet we wait soooo long to sit and feast on our true selves, as a part of a bigger whole, alone yet not alone at all... seperate yet unified... one and all similtaneously!

I've missed myself lately...

Beats International featuring Lindy Layton 1990 smash hit that spent 13 weeks in the charts... and one of my all time favourite songs!
By golly gosh though, wasn't easy finding this clip.
SOS originally did this track, recently slaughtered by Karmah and has been remixed that many times it is not funny! This particular track though is my favourite, and in my humble opinion, the best arrangement, interpretation and production of and oldie but definately a goodie!
Check out Lindy's dancing... soooooooooo 90's just like the leggings and sneakers, with the oversized button down shirt and wayyyyyyy too much bling! it's hard to comprehend that the 90's could actually come back into style in the next few years considering how bad it was!!! haha I'm sure someone will throw a spin on the 90's stylings and rep it radically! One thing is for sure though.... that ain't gunna be me!

Meeeeoooooow

Until yesterday I had a little house guest... a tom named Mr Kitty aka Lil Fucker!
I grew up with cats but I have always much preferred dogs.... but to tell u the truth, any critter that has a bucket load of personality is my type of companion!
Even though Mr Kitty liked to draw blood and notify me he was hungry with his teeth, I miss the lil bastard!
So now I am really fighting the urge to go and buy a dog...
I'll see you tomorrow night for dinner at your new home Mr Kitty.... u better not bite me!!!
